OUR COMPANY

  • Max Wong founded the company on May 11th, 2012.
  • A Ship Manager for Simgood 1 Pte Ltd (2008–2020), PT Indoliziz Indonesia (2008–2012), and Top Maritime Services Thailand (2015). This pertains to the operation of the ship to ensure adequate compliance with International Regulations such as Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL), and any other pertinent conventions, as well as ensuring that the ship is capable of performing the assigned task. This entails bunkering, crewing, port agent employment, and accounting.
  • Malaysia (Petronas and Murphy Oil), India (ONGC), Indonesia (Pertamina and Chevron), Philippines (Dynamic Offshore), and Thailand (PTTEP and CPOC) are the countries in which we operate.
  • Partner with Satumarin for offshore iron ore mining in North Luzon, Philippines, in 2018 and 2019.
  • Captain Zailani joined Fairwind as the Managing Director at the beginning of 2023, as an experienced Marine Technical Advisor, Operation and Contract Specialist, where he would contribute his expertise in marine subject matter expert and dealing with matters pertaining to Offshore Terminal Operations, Mobile Offshore Units, Marine Assets Controller, HSSE and Marine related advisory services.

Captain Mohd Zailani Bin Abdul Razak is a seasoned maritime professional with over 30 years of experience in the Marine and Offshore industry. A highly experienced mariner, he possesses extensive expertise across offshore operations and marine services. He is deeply passionate about the maritime sector and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Wong Chee Choong

Director

Wong Chee Choong (Max), born in 1969, graduated from Singapore Polytechnic Nautical Studies in 1994, he joined maritime career for Neptune Orient Line (NOL) and Pacific Ship Managers (Owned by Robert Kok group). He was certified by Llyod’s Asia as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and the Company Security Officer (CSO).
He then furthered his study in UK for MBA in shipping and Logistics (Middlesex University London) and Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Law (London Metropolitan University) which enable him to provide professional ship manager services to clients.
